Application

Zirconium oxychloride can be used as a raw material for mordant dyes, as well as an additive for mordant dyes, color fixatives, deodorants, flame retardants, and other products. Zirconium oxychloride can also be used as a stabilizer for oilfield formation soil and a coagulation treatment agent for industrial wastewater. The most important use of zirconium oxychloride is as an intermediate raw material for deep processing. By directly calcining zirconium oxychloride, industrial grade and high-purity zirconia, nano ultrafine zirconia, and adding stabilizers, stable and semi stable zirconia can be produced. Zirconium oxychloride can also be used to produce zirconium containing chemicals such as zirconium carbonate, zirconium sulfate, zirconium nitrate, and zirconium hydroxide. These zirconium containing chemicals have a wide range of uses.
