(1)1,3-Dimethoxybenzene can be used to synthesize 2,4-Dimethoxyethylbenzene. 2,4-Dimethoxyethylbenzene is an important aromatic ether chemical intermediate with multiple uses, mainly used for the synthesis of benzamide antipsychotic drug etipride, and can also be used for the synthesis of chlorinated aromatic ether soil pest insecticides.
