Epoxy resin:
DOPO reacts with epichlorohydrin to produce derivatives such as DOPO-HQ, which can significantly enhance the flame retardancy of epoxy resins. This type of reactive flame retardant does not require any additives and can directly bind with resin molecular chains to form a stable flame retardant structure. It is suitable for high demand materials such as plastics for electronic devices, copper lining laminates, and circuit boards.
Polyamide(Nylon):
DOPO derivatives can react chemically with polyamide to produce halogen-free, smokeless, and non-toxic flame retardants, which are widely used in electronic device casings, wires and cables, and other scenarios.
Polyurethane:
DOPO based flame retardants can improve the flame retardancy of polyurethane through addition or reaction, and are commonly used in building materials, interior of transportation vehicles, and other scenarios.
Other polymer materials:
Including linear polyester, ABS plastic, etc., flame retardant can be achieved through addition or reactive methods while maintaining the original properties of the material.
Electronic device:
