Dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether(DPnB) has high film-forming efficiency and medium to slow volatilization rate, and can be applied in the following areas:
1)Coatings: One of the most effective film-forming agents for water-based coatings, endowing the paint film with excellent performance; Dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether can be used as a coagulant for acrylic resins, styrene acrylic resins, and polyvinyl acetate, endowing paint films with excellent properties. Dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether is one of the most effective film-forming aids for many water-based coatings.
2)Cleaning agent: Dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether is suitable for use in cleaning agents, especially in systems that require extremely low volatilization rates, such as wax removers and floor cleaners. Dipropylene glycol monobutyl ether is a good coupling agent for lubricating grease and oil, and can be used as a paint remover and animal oil remover.
