Application

p-Toluenesulfonhydrazide is used as a foaming agent for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and various plastics, causing fine closed cell structures in plastics and rubber products. The shrinkage rate of the products is low, and the tear resistance is high. This product cannot be used in combination with dinitropentamethylenetetramine (foaming agent H), nor should it be used in combination with lead salt to avoid coking and pollution of the rubber material. When using this product, foaming agents are not required.
