3.Triphenyl phosphate is used as a sizing agent for nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate, flame retardant plasticizer, fire-resistant solvent, nitrocellulose paint, synthetic resin, roofing paper, and camphor substitute in celluloid manufacturing.
