Application

1. Internally plasticized monomer:

Dioctyl maleate/DOM has strong solubility and can effectively plasticize resins that are generally not easily plasticized (acrylonitrile, methacrylic acid resin), making the product smooth and soft.

2. Lotion polymerization:

Dioctyl maleate/DOM can be copolymerized with vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylate and other monomers to improve the adhesion, toughness and flexibility of lotion; Lotion can be used for water-based (packaging adhesive, pressure sensitive adhesive, tile backing adhesive, textile adhesive), etc.

3. Surfactant raw material:

Dioctyl maleate/DOM is the main intermediate for synthesizing sodium dioctyl succinate sulfonate. Sodium dioctyl succinate sulfonate is widely used in industries such as water-based adhesives, printing and dyeing, leather making, coatings, and petroleum drilling due to its strong permeability, dispersibility, and good emulsification.
