1. Acts Dioctyldiphenylamine as a high-temperature antioxidant in lubricants (mineral/synthetic), effectively inhibiting oil oxidation and extending service life under extreme thermal conditions.
2. Serves Antioxidant ODA CAS 101-67-7 as a durable antidegradant in chloroprene rubber and polyolefin products, preventing thermal aging and reducing shrinkage in unvulcanized chloroprene adhesives reliably.
3. Functions as a synergistic additive with hindered phenols in rubber cables, belts and rollers, enhancing heat resistance and color stability significantly.
Storage and Precautions
Store Antioxidant ODA (CAS 101-67-7, off-white crystalline powder, mp 96-97℃, density 1.09g/cm³, purity ≥98%) at 10–30℃ in sealed amber glass/HDPE containers in a cool, dry, dark and well-ventilated area. Isolate from strong oxidants and acids to avoid decomposition. Wear nitrile gloves, safety goggles and dust mask; avoid dust inhalation, skin/eye contact and ingestion to prevent mild irritation.
