Application
1.Industrial grade:Sodium sulfite is used as filter remover and bleach in printing and dyeing industry, bleach, developer, reductant, stabilizer in leather industry, as well as paper making, electronics, water treatment, etc.
2.Food grade:Sodium sulfite is used as a preservative, antioxidant and antimicrobial agent in the food industry, such as fruits, vegetables, juice (citrus and grapes) and seafood. It is used as an anti-starter during storage and as a bactericidal agent in the production of starch and saccharin.
