Application
(1)2-Phenoxyethanol is an ideal preservative in cosmetics.
(2)2-Phenoxyethanol is commonly used as a penetrating agent and fungicide in detergents; Preferable solvents and penetration aids for hair dyes and nail polish pigments.
(3)2-Phenoxyethanol is an ideal solvent for hydroxybenzoate esters.
(4)2-Phenoxyethanol can be used as acrylic resin: cellulose, acid fiber agent. This product is commonly used as a solvent and modifier for paints, inks, ballpoint pen oils, as well as a penetrating agent for printing ink, and as an anti blocking agent for screen printing ink.
(5)2-Phenoxyethanol as a dye solvent can increase the solubility of PVC plasticizers.
(6)By utilizing its strong solubility, 2-Phenoxythanol can be used for cleaning printed circuit boards and surface treatment of plastics.
