Acetone oxime is a reducing organic compound widely used in industries, pharmaceuticals, and materials.
Boiler water treatment:
As an efficient chemical deoxygenation agent, Acetone oxime reacts with dissolved oxygen in water to generate nitrogen gas and water, rapidly reducing the oxygen content. Its deoxygenation efficiency is 1/5 of traditional deoxygenation agents (such as hydrazine), and it has a low dosage, is non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. ‌
Metal protection mechanism: Acetone oxime reacts with metal oxides to form a magnetic iron oxide film, which prevents further corrosion; Simultaneously dissolving copper oxides in the pipeline may initially lead to an increase in copper content, but in the long run, it can reduce the risk of metal overheating. ‌
Organic synthesis:
Acetone oxime is used as a raw material for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals (such as cephalosporin antibiotics), pesticides, dyes, and organosilicon coupling agents to enhance product stability. ‌
