2-Butanone oxime(also known as Methyl ethyl ketoxime) is a multifunctional chemical raw material mainly used in the following fields:
Coating anti caking treatment:
2-Butanone oxime, as an anti caking agent for oil-based paints such as alkyd paints, epoxy ester paints, etc., can effectively prevent coating from caking during storage and stabilize viscosity. The best effect is achieved when the addition amount is 0.1% -0.3%, which is suitable for industries such as offset printing ink.
Organic silicon crosslinking agent and curing agent:
2-Butanone oxime is used to produce single component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber products. As a sealing agent for isocyanates, it can improve the curing effect and stability of materials.
Industrial antioxidant and corrosion inhibitor:
In industrial boilers or water treatment systems, 2-Butanone oxime can act as an antioxidant to delay equipment oxidation corrosion and as a corrosion inhibitor to protect metal components.
Pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals:
2-Butanone oxime is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of high-purity compounds such as hydroxylamine hydrochloride and hydroxylamine sulfate, as well as an intermediate in organic synthesis reactions.
