Application
Calcium hydride is used as reducing agent and condensing agent in organic synthesis, and used as desiccant and hydrogen production material.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, and well ventilated dedicated warehouse, away from sparks and heat sources. The temperature of the warehouse shall not exceed 32 °C, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 75%. The packaging must be sealed and protected from moisture. Store separately from oxidants, acids, alcohols, halogens, etc., and avoid mixing storage.
