Application
1.Methyl acetoacetate is used as a solvent for cellulose ethers and a component of cellulose resin mixed solvents
2.Methyl acetoacetate can be used as an intermediate of fungicides such as chlorpyrifos, dimethoxyphen, and ethoxyphen, insecticides such as diazinon, phoxim, pyrimidophos, herbicides such as imidazolyl nicotinic acid, rodenticides such as chlorpyrifos and chlorpyrifos.
3.In the pharmaceutical industry, Methyl acetoacetate is used to prepare intermediates such as Vitamin A, B1, E and carotenoids.
4.Methyl acetoacetate is also used in organic synthesis such as dyes and polymer stabilizers.
