Imidazole CAS 288-32-4

Imidazole(CAS:288-32-4) is mainly used in the following applications:
Pharmaceutical field:
Imidazole antifungal drugs: intermediates of miconazole, econazole, clotrimazole, ketoconazole, and cardiovascular drugs
Industry and materials field:
Epoxy resin curing agent: Imidazole can significantly improve the mechanical strength, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance of epoxy resin products, and is widely used in electronic packaging, printed circuit boards, etc.
Metal rust inhibitor: Especially used for rust prevention of copper and its alloys, commonly used in electronic components and integrated circuit protection.
Organic synthesis intermediates: Imidazole is used for the synthesis of urea formaldehyde resins, adhesives, coatings, rubber vulcanizing agents, and anti-static agents.
Agriculture and environment:
Pesticide raw materials: Imidazole is used as boronic acid formulation enhancer for the preparation of insecticides and fungicides.
Fruit preservation: Imidazole compounds(such as Imazole) can be used as post harvest fruit preservatives to inhibit mold growth.

Imidazole should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from strong oxidants and acids. Keep Imidazole containers tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.

1. Causes irritation to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract.
2. Harmful Imidazole if swallowed; may cause gastrointestinal discomfort.
3. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
