2. Methyl lactate is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose butyrate acetate, cellulose propionate acetate, and cellulose ethers.
3. When used as a solvent for nitrocellulose paints and coatings, it can enhance the anti-whitening and extensibility of the coatings.
4. Methyl lactate is used as a solvent for cellulose, paints, and dyes.
