Application
4,4'-Dithiodimorpholine can be used as a vulcanizing agent and accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. The use of this product does not spray frost, pollute, discolor, and easily disperse the adhesive material. The vulcanizate obtained by using 4,4'-Dithiodimorpholine in both effective and semi effective vulcanization systems has good heat resistance and aging resistance. At vulcanization temperature, it can release active sulfur with an effective sulfur content of 27%, which is safe to operate. When used alone, the vulcanization speed is slow, and when combined with thiazole, thiuram, and dithiocarbamate salts, it can improve the vulcanization speed. 4,4'-Dithiodimorpholine is particularly suitable for butyl rubber and is used in the manufacturing of tires, butyl inner tubes, tape, and heat-resistant rubber products. It is also used as an asphalt stabilizer for highways.
