Application
ε-Caprolactone monomer is the main raw material for producing polycaprolactone degradable plastics. Polycaprolactone degradable plastics have broad market prospects in fields such as biodegradable materials, medical devices, drug carriers and 3D printing due to their excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility characteristics. After the ring opening of caprolactone, derivatives of ε-Caprolactone, such as caprolactone polyols, are used as modifiers and are widely used in the modification of materials such as polyurethane, acrylic acid, polyester, epoxy resin, etc., resulting in excellent flexibility, impact resistance, weather resistance, dissolution resistance, water resistance, and increased color.
