Glycolide (CAS: 502-97-6) is an important biodegradable polymer monomer widely used in medical and environmental fields.
Main purpose:
1.Surgical sutures:Polyethylene glycol (PGA) and its copolymers have good biocompatibility and absorbency, and are commonly used to manufacture surgical sutures that can be absorbed by the human body.

Storage 

 

1.Glycolide is a biodegradable material. During storage, Glycolide should avoid contact with water, acidic substances, alkaline substances, alcohol reagents, and other reagents that can cause product degradation.
2.Glycolide should be sealed, stored in a dry and low-temperature environment(frozen in a refrigerator at -20°C), and sealed with a sealing machine (residual products after use should not be stored in self sealing bags).
3.When using Glycolide, take it out of the refrigerator and leave it at room temperature. Wait until it reaches room temperature to wipe off any condensed moisture on the surface of the packaging bag before opening it (if it is not opened at the same temperature after being taken out of the refrigerator, moisture in the air will condense onto the surface of the product, causing it to degrade). The air humidity in the environment during use should be less than 35% to avoid residual products getting damp and affecting product quality.
