Application

1.Sulfolane can be used to extract aromatic hydrocarbons from petroleum reforming distillate, and also can be used as a purifying agent for natural gas, synthesis gas and other acidic gases to remove hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.

2.Sulfolane can be used as a solvent for polymer compounds such as polyacrylonitrile, acrylonitrile copolymer, polyfluoroethylene, etc., and used for spinning and making films.

3.Sulfolane can also be used as plasticizer of cellulose ether, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene, polyamide, etc., and additive for acrylic fiber spinning.

4.Sulfolane can also be used for the separation of fatty acids, extracting non cellulose components from wood, as a carrier for condensation, and adding it to pressure oak oil to improve corrosion resistance, flame resistance, thermal stability, viscosity, etc.
