Application

1.In pesticide production, Ethyl acetoacetate is used to synthesize organophosphorus insecticides, 2-methoxy-4-methyl-6-hydroxypyrimidine (the intermediate of pyrimidine oxyphosphorus), 2-isopropyl-4-methyl-6-hydroxypyrimidine (the intermediate of diazinon), pirimicarb (carbamate insecticide), fungicide oxamycin, herbicide etazol nicotinic acid, rodenticide warfarin, warfarin, etc. It is also a new variety of fungicides, cyprodinil Intermediates of difulmesterim, furametpyr, and plant growth regulator cintofen.

2.Ethyl acetoacetate is used in the synthesis of diclofenazole penicillin sodium, hydroxyampicillin, selective coronary vasodilators Yantongxin, pyrimidine, 4-hydroxyquinoline, and chloramphenicol.
